My Life, the Musical

▶️Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and charm and gaiety to life and to everything. Music is the universal language of mankind. As a baby in my mothers womb, I started to speak this language. I listened and swayed to the different melodies. I still wonder what excited me the most, was it her heartbeat, or the songs she sang to me. I guess it is because I just loved to dance (I still enjoy dancing by the way).

▶️▶️Nine months later, it was time for me to face the world. To make my first real song heard by many. I cried. Despite her pain, mum gazed away with admiration, in response to my first song. I give her credit for putting up with what I am told was a mixture of very high pitches and silent notes. She loved it all. She enjoyed it. Now she may not be alive to see this, but I am blessed to be her daughter.

In school, my love for music enticed me to join both the school and church choirs. It made me take my first memorable risk too. I offered it to be examined at the National Level, thus being a pioneer in a Music Class of the school (a pioneer who unforgettably passed). To my peers then, Beethoven and Mozart were only strange words, whereas to me, these were are force to be reckoned with. Ohh the sweet memories I still hold of school, with us teasing the whole world with terms only found in the Music class.

⏩️⏩️Music, whether it arises as a subject emotion or it arises with the discovery of sonic properties of the materials of the universe, it speaks to people and their God.  To the Farmers, it is the refreshing sounds of the rain drops hitting the petals. To the lawyer, perhaps the melody of the judge's gavel hitting the sounding block, or the sound of their own voice. To all artists and scientist and i mean to you that's reading this. music is our inspiration and life. Needless to mention, it pleases our God to give praises to Him. If you need help with that, this should give you afew insights.

I shall with a lot of hesitation stop and listen to the sweet melodies that resonate while in solitude and rest, and in moments when life is in high-speed. I shall enjoy the music. I'll stop and let you enjoy the music around you, and mostly, encourage you to realize how great our God who created MUSIC is. While at it, you may join me as we sing hymns of praise and thanksgiving to God our heavenly Father for this perfect creation.

If you at this point are still confused about music, I'll leave you with the words of T.S. Eliot,
"You are the Music, while the Music Lasts"
